“It’s a great time to be an embryologist these days, because we have so many exciting developments in our field going on with a lot of promise for the future of what we can offer our patients”
Dr. Sebastiaan Mastenbroek, Clinical Embryologist & Researcher at the University of Amsterdam
Life Rewired is a series of short films produced for The Barbican Centre in London.
"The Children of Tomorrow" is a short documentary produced by DOCCO, exploring expert perspectives on IVF and emerging reproductive technologies such as gene editing, artificial uteruses, and artificial gametes.
Although arguably controversial, what if these were able to prevent genetic diseases in children or make people resistant to HIV? Could technology change the future of how we reproduce?
The Life Rewired series was showcased at The Barbican Centre from April to October of 2019 and was awarded a Bronze award in the category of Branded Content at the Creativepool awards in 2020.
